I remember Miss Cain, she was my 7th grade homeroom teacher. The summer before I was in her class my Dad passed away. She was very helpful during that school year helping me adjust to that loss. Does anyone know what became of her? I also remember Mr. Delk the choir director. He was a very large man who drove the smallest honda I had ever seen, not sure how he fit in his car!

I have many memories of Foothill. I couldn't stand Mrs. Mohajer though looking back she was a good teacher. I remember Mr. Jackson, he was cool. I can't remember the name of the lesbian PE coach but she was also mean. Mr. Dickoff was cool and so was Mr. Sewell. Does anyone know what Ray Sewell is doing now? I loved him. I also remember Mr. Riday and Mr. Kostman, the two principals. Remember Mrs. Ruckels, the math teacher who never stood up?

I remember in the 7th grade having the biggest crush on Susan Miller and the look on her face when I told her. Hey! She kept nagging me to tell her who I had a crush on. I'll never forget her yelling out "Yuk!!!" and running out of the classroom in despair. Things were never the same between us after that. Hey... what can I say? I had that effect on "girls". In my 8th grade year, Cloyce Thompson, Mike Barber, and a few other class clowns, talked me into asking Sharon Mullen to dance with me at one of the dances... and she did. She had the most beautiful dress on. I still remember it and the smell of her hair to this very day. We danced all night. We even went to the movies once as a "couple". My siblings went along... of course... that wasn't a bright thing to do. How they embarrassed me... and still do! I love you guys!!! Sharon found another boyfriend a few weeks later and forgot all about me. I was heartbroken for a moment. Ah... to be young again. Well... enough of that. Send me an email sometime or visit my website @ www.marktorrence.com. Duh... where else would it be? L8z M.

Funny how so many people remember Mrs. Mohajer as the best teacher, I thought she was so mean. I was attending 6th grade at Charles H Lee and they moved our sixth grade class in the middle of year to Foothills, the 7th and 8th graders some teachers too were so mean to us. We came over with our teacher Mr. Stuart. He was cool. I remember the big fat donuts

Foothill was a great school. Mr. Harmsen was our Principal. Mr. Anthony, who later became Principal of Valleydale and Gladstone High School was our VP. During eighth grade, it was illegal to have your shirt tales out. If you were caught, Mr. Powell would cut off the tail of the shirt and hang it in his window. I also remember Mrs. Drury, one of the best teachers I ever had.

Foothill, what good memories. Teachers that have made a lasting impression include but are not limited to; Mrs Robin (since her class I have never thought of english the same way) Mr Jones, (any teacher who would tell a class to watch "a clockwork orange" is alright in my book). And believe it or not Mr dickoff, he was a really kewl teacher who by giving you liberties also gave you the ability to learn from your mistakes. If any of you teachers are reading this please know that the normal day to day job you do has made such a lasting impression in my life and i'm sure the life of others. I had a blast at Foothill and wouldnt trade it for the world. Cookies? ya, they were the best !! I leave you with this "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent!!" Peace -Jason

I have my fondest memories of school from Foothill. I think Mr. Baum was principal, Mrs. Woodward was vice principal, and Mr. Elmer Scalf was the school counselor. My best friend was Kim Rogers. All the pretty girls from Foothill had a crush on my brother, Lester. I remember playing tag everyday by Mr. Delk's chorus room in the little open space to the left. I also had a big crush on Mr. Sewell; to me he was the most handsome guy on campus.

When I was at Foothill..Mr. Baum was my 7th grade teacher. The next year he taught 8th grade and I had him as a teacher again. I returned a few years later and he was the Principal. Go figure. I still remember memorizing The Midnight Ride Of Paul Revere. Can still recite the stanzas we memorized. And for Home Economics we had Miss Andrade..oh, and the P.E. teacher had this large paddle he used mostly on the guys.."bend over and grab your ankles" !!

I remember Miss Andrade invited everyone to her wedding, and since I had never been to the San Gabriel Mission, my Grandmother and I went! It was a beautiful High Noon Mass, and Wedding. Now, I wasn't Catholic, so I had NO clue what that meant, but it was lovely. She was pleased that we came! She was beautiful, everyday, but wow!

I was only at Foothill from March '67 to June '67 due to my family moving from Pasadena to the Azusa School District and graduated to Azusa High where I graduated in 1971. I most remember Mrs.Blankenship as a most wonderful welcoming teacher and my most memorable friend at that short time there was Gerald Clifford. I often wonder what ever became of him

During my eighth grade year at Foothill Jr. High, I stood on a basketball with two friends holding me on each side, when all of a sudden the p.e. teacher called us all to line up. My friends took off, I fell on my tail bone and I believe I broke it. It hurt me from 8th grade all the way through my junior year at Azusa High. WHAT A FOOL!!!!!

I attend Foothill for not only 7th and 8th grade but also in kindergarden. Memories of Kindergarden... My teacher was Mrs. Bridges. I remember if you did your work (the little bit we did back then) and were good you could go over to the play area. She had a play kitchen that was the best. Memories of 7th and 8th grade... The Bicentennial Fair in 8th grade Mr Riday the coolest counselor a kid could have (they need more like him now in schools) Mrs Blankenship tried so hard to get some students to straighten up and learn something. (I gave her such a hard time but I still remember the pre-amble to the Constitution) Mr Kostman I was always being sent to his office. I saw him more than my own dad.lol

Going to Foothill was the best two years for me with friends...It seemed as though we ALL got along great always...Mrs. Blankenship took a few of us girls to her house for an afternoon..took us to someplace outside to have fun (now too old to remember where it was) Karen Butcher, Shari cook, Jackie Donaquie, and myself all went...We ended up on some hill somewhere sliding down the hill on our butts..it was that grass that is long and grows downward..a type of fescue(ornamental)..anyway we giggled and slid, and came home dirtier than you know what...But we had a blast..I wish I still had those pictures...Also..Mr Keedy was one of my favorites..I always called him DAD...He was a very patient teacher...although I do recall him getting mad a few times...His face would turn real red...rare though....I also had a crush on Mike Houston for those two years plus in 9th grade...and never ever told anyone....he knows now though...:0 :)

When I was at Foothill, my dog Sam would dig out of our yard and come to my class. The custodian would lock him up in one of the storage rooms until school was out and I would pick him up and take him home. I don't know of any schools today that would that! My teachers were Mr. Diaz, Mr. Mc Call, and Miss Andrade.

I remember the new Science teacher for 8th grade Mr. Larson. He was a very nice man who didn't have a clue how mean some students could be. A lot of the kids put him through hell. I really liked him and wonder if he continued to teach after his first year of torture.
